In a long, dreadful season -- one that took a tragic turn with the passing of Skip on Sunday -- Hampton gave us reason to smile last night. Charlie Morton's game today I thought was the first time he actually looked like he belonged in the majors. Seriously, who doesn't give a HR up to Prince Fielder now and then. I was actually surprised to see Ring get DFAed. I know he's been struggling lately, but for the most part he was very effective as lefty specialist.
