Very rarely do I literaly "lol" out loud.

Funny post, Shaun.

I'm with Bud. I think it was a good trade. Of course I'd like to get more because I'm a greedy Braves fan but I think getting a prospect and a proven first base talent who should be with us and a starter for the next few years is a good acquisition.

I'm glad you're back, friend.

Good trade. No way anybody's giving up three or four players for a two-month rental. Wren got a good, young first baseman who is signed through 2011, who plays exceptional defense, who hits well (Kotchman wears out lefties) and who figures to get better. Marek throws mid-90s, has experience as a starter and reliever, and has a ton of strikeouts in his minor-league career. We'll see how he develops, but I like adding Kotchman to the core of young talent already in place.

Best of luck with the move. And no love for Scott Thorman here ... or Corky Miller, for that matter. Geez, what a horrible throw last night to let the go-ahead run score.
