Another Rainy Day Quick Hits

Well, FOX is going to miss out on broadcasting Tom Glavine’s first start against the Mets as Hudson and Maine will try again tonight. They might miss out on broadcasting anything in Atlanta at all, as it is still raining and supposed to keep on raining until early evening. A couple of quick hits:

  • Braves.com on the infamous Resop-to-Ring-to-Resop switch on Thursday:

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, this marked the first time since 1990 that a pitcher began an inning on the mound, moved to a position and then ended the inning as the pitcher.

  • Hampton’s trip to the DL is retroactive to March 30, which means we could see him as soon as April 15 in Florida.
